Meet Our Doctors!
Dr. Bigler– Dr. John A. Bigler is a native of Northeastern Arizona, and enjoys the outdoors. After completing a two-year church service mission to south Korea, he returned to Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University. His doctoral training was at the University of Colorado where he earned is Doctoral of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. He and his lovely wife Michelle, are the proud parents of six children and two grandchildren, which he views as his greatest achievements.
Dr. Standage– Dr. Standage is an Arizona native, born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. Being from Arizona, the decision was easy for him to become a Sun Devil and attend Arizona State University to earn an undergraduate degree in Biology. Furthering his education to become a dentist, he attended Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona for dental school. Dr. Standage has an easy going personality which makes interacting with patients and getting to know them effortless. His sincere desire to provide excellent care and service is what made becoming a Dentist the most appealing. Dr. Standage thrives to make sure that all of his patients understand their needed treatment and ensuring that each patient gets the best possible care.
Dr. Djurdjic– She attended Marquette University for dental school, where she was elected and served as class representative, participated in various volunteer activities, and graduated magna cum laude. She was also on the Dean’s list and received an award for clinical excellence. Her favorite part of dental school was being able to interact with patients from all walks of life. In particular, a large number of their patient base came from disadvantaged backgrounds, and she found joy in being able to provide them with quality care and increase their self-confidence.
Dr. Westergard– Dr. Eric Westergard obtained a Bachelor’s in Human Biology with minors in Physics and Chemistry from BYU-Idaho. He graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry, and joined the Air Force allowing him to serve our country as a dentist for 5 years. He completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Eglin AFB, Florida, enabling him to do many advanced surgical and cosmetic dental procedures.
Dr. Burns– Dr. Burns’ heart has always been tied to the Valley of the Sun. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University before going to dental school. He is still an avid Sun Devil fan and can often be found supporting the Sun Devils at any athletic event. Go Devils!! He graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry and loved his time in the Midwest. After graduation he was thrilled to return to warm weather and lots of sunshine and no shoveling snow. Dr. Burns is married to his beautiful wife, Michaela, and they have three wonderful children they adore. They love hiking, swimming and enjoy the Arizona outdoors. He also enjoys good food and never passes up a great dessert.
Dr. Burns loves working with his hands and building smiles that not only function perfectly, but look amazing as well. His outgoing personality and sense of humor endear him to his patients and all who know him. He loves people and taking the time to understand each individual patient’s needs and circumstances. He enjoys knowing his patients and ensures they understand all options available to them and how to care for their smile. This passion for his patients drives him to continue a lifelong pursuit of learning how to serve them. Dr. Burns looks forward to meeting you and helping you to achieve your ideal smile!
