Doctor

Caitlin Jarman – Hygienist

Caitlin was born in Mesa, Arizona and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. She went to Mesa Community College for her undergraduate degree as well as for hygiene school. One of the main reasons she decided to enter the dental field was because it fit so well with her personality. Others would describe her as an extrovert, and as a result, she loves to get to know people and learn about their lives and hear their fun and interesting stories. She became a hygienist so that she could build relationships with patients and help educate them about their oral health and how to properly take care of it. One of her favorite things is seeing how dentistry can affect lives and boost the confidence of individuals. Caitlin has a husband and a daughter. In her free time, she loves crafting, calligraphy, and watercoloring.

Megan Cottrell – Hygienist

Megan was born and raised in the state of Washington before moving to Arizona 20 years ago. After high school, Megan received her undergraduate degree at Shoreline Community College in Washington before completing the Dental Hygiene program at Phoenix College. For Megan, school was challenging, but she was determined to be successful and soon conquered it!

Mary Beth Powers – Hygienist

Mary Beth began working for Canyon Vista Dental Care in 1986. For her, the most fulfilling part of her job, and the reason that she loves dentistry so much, is because of the close relationships she has formed with her patients at the office in the last 30 years. She also loves watching and helping patients reach their dental goals, and then helping them to maintain their beautiful dental work and smiles. She believes that it really is teamwork between her and her patients, and she is proud to have many good “students.”

Candice Richins – Hygienist

While in hygiene school, Candice served as the president of the Student American Dental Hygienist’s group, which drew upon her leadership, organizational, and philanthropic skills. She was the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award, a presidential recognition awarded under the Obama administration to celebrate “the impact made in bettering our communities.” She has also received the Colgate S.T.A.R award for “compassion in patient care, enthusiasm for community service, and dedication to and enjoyment of the profession of dental hygiene.”

Sarah Scott Hygienist

Sarah Scott is a native from beautiful, sunny Arizona! She was born in Mesa and grew up in Gilbert. She attended Mesa Community College for her undergraduate degree and continued her education at Rio Salado College to complete her education to become a hygienist! While it was a lot of studying and work, she made life-long friends and she had amazing instructors who helped her graduate with honors! Sarah has always wanted to work here in Arizona, because it is where she is from and she has no plans on moving away!
